The following Privacy Statement has been prepared by NZably Living.
NZably Living owns and operates the website located at servicelink.nzably.co.nz (“the Site”) across desktop, mobile, tablet, and apps, including any subdomains. ServiceLink’s Privacy Statement has been created because NZably Living values its users and recognizes their right to keep their Personal Information private.
Definitions
Where used in this Privacy Statement, the terms:
- “ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz,” “we,” “us,” and “our” includes a reference to NZably Living and its members.
- “Employer/s” and “Company/ies” refers to members that post job ads on our Site to source potential applicants for job vacancies.
- “Freelancer/s” and “Candidate/s” refers to users who register on the Site with the intention of applying for client/s’ project and their interests.
Collecting Information on ServiceLink Visitors
ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz collects Personal Information from Site visitors for the purposes of providing services to users and (as described below) for better customizing those services. Any Personal Information collected will be used by NZably Living in accordance with and as described in this Privacy Statement.
ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz collects non-Personal Information on Site visits by users, including which sections of the Site are most frequently visited, how often, and for how long. This data is always used as aggregated, non-Personal Information, and may be shared with NZably Living members to provide them with information relating to how ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz visitors ‘use’ the Site. This is done to provide users with the best and most efficient career management and recruitment services.
Collecting Information on Registered Users
As part of registering an account on ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz, we collect Personal Information about those registered users in order for them to take full advantage of ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz’s services. To do this, it will be necessary for registered users to provide additional information to NZably Living.
Becoming a registered user allows you to take advantage of more of the Site’s services and resources that may assist you in finding a job. To become a registered user, you will need to create a Freelancer account by submitting some Personal Information such as your name (for the purpose of a username) and email address. You may access your information at any time by logging in to your Freelancer account and updating the Job Alerts you have previously saved on the Site. ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz may also use this information to customize the service we provide to you.
If you want to opt-out from the collection and usage of information for targeting, you can do so by contacting NZably Living directly.
Other Information ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz May Collect
ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz may also collect and use information about your job-seeking needs, characteristics, and priorities by collecting and analyzing data about how you use, or interact with, the products and services offered on the Site (including, by way of example, usage patterns around how regularly you update your profile or how often you submit job applications).
NZably Living may use this information, including through automated processes applying algorithms, for the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement, to better tailor ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz’s offerings to your job-seeking needs and to provide more targeted services to Employers and Candidates.
Third Party Measurement
In order to better understand ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz users, NZably Living utilizes third-party measurement companies to assess Site and mobile Site traffic. This includes collecting the following information on usage of the Site:
- The number of page views (or page impressions) that occur on the Site;
- The number of unique visitors to the Site;
- How long these unique visitors (on average) spend on the Site when they do visit; and
- Common entry and exit points into the Site.
This aggregated, non-Personal Information is collated and provided to NZably Living in order to assist in analyzing the usage of the Site. This data is also accessible by member companies, for the purpose of conducting industry comparisons with other Internet websites.
Storing Resumes
Site users applying for jobs are required to upload their resume to the application form prior to submission or to the Employer’s external web page of choice when directed. Users may also attach an additional document such as a cover letter.
All resumes and cover letters attached to the ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz application form are not stored by the Site or NZably Living and are provided directly to the Employer who posted the job ad.
Communications to and from ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz
ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz may also provide you with selected information about job placement and career-related topics in email communications, including in NZably Living’s email newsletter ‘ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz News’ and ‘Job Alerts’.
Registered users may opt-out of receiving Job Alerts from ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz by logging into their Freelancer account and deleting the alerts from within their dashboard. Subscribed users may opt-out of receiving emails from NZably Living either by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ in the footer of an email received or by contacting NZably Living directly.
NZably Living takes all reasonable steps to ensure the security of our system and to protect your information from misuse, interference, and loss, as well as unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality and privacy of any Personal Information held by ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz.
Unless you become a registered user by creating a Freelancer account, subscribe to receive ServiceLink News and/or submit a job application online, or become an Employer, ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz does not collect information that identifies you personally.
Candidates who have applied for any position on the Site should be aware that the Employer to whom their application is sent may also be holding their Personal Information, and should you wish to access that information, this should be requested directly from those Employers.
Feedback and Complaints
NZably Living welcomes ideas and feedback about all aspects of the Site. ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz stores feedback that users send to us. This feedback may be used to administer and refine the service we provide and may be shared with ServiceLink.NZably.co.nz partners either in aggregate form or with specific identifying characteristics removed.
